Lacy Trap & Laurel Fork Trails are part of the Appalachian Trail and are more difficult 15 mile loop hikes. The Buffalo Mountain Trail is a three mile hike that will take all day. Once to the top you can see all of Johnson City. All of these hiking spots are very popular, absolutely beautiful, and all local so don’t hesitate to explore what the natural aspect of the Tri-Cities has to offer.
